Life Imitates Art

This month's Art Spark has got to me. There are so many things that make me happy,
to be able to choose is a blessing.
I am influenced fully by my stunning surroundings.
The Grape Belt of WNY takes me and tips me on my head with it's beauty.
When I drive my children to the grocery store, soccer practice, Nana and Papa's house I tell them "Look! All around us! We live in a painting. We live in art."
After one such exclamation my five year old son responded,
"Yeah, God did an awesome job."
So my Happy is rooted in this place. The color, the fresh green-yellow of the grapes when the sun hits them.
The deep wine red that they will turn soon and fill the air with an unreal scent of heaven.
The texture of the grape rows as they blanket nature's curves.
All of these things combined symbolize for me a new beginning filled with family, stability, and raising my children in an ever changing work of art.
For this I am so grateful
and happiness is ripe
for the picking.
