current obsessions:

have you seen these intense blk & white beauties of frances bean cobain by hedi slimane ? i can't stop scrolling up & down thru them. oddly, somehow makes me think of that sassy cover of her parents from forever ago.

i'm highly attracted to this magazine: this cover reminds me of this painting by aron wiesenfeld. the word 'supernatural' is used. there is some controversy over one of the editorials, so i want to see for myself.

this obsession ties in with my obsession with 'this american life.' it's the only thing that keeps me sane during the tedious trips on the new jersey turnpike going from philly to nyc these days from all the terrible construction. i heard a short story being read by wells tower on the 'long shot' program. i was snared. i had to have more. thankfully, he has a book of stories out, 'everything ravaged, everything burned' that amazon has been trying to push on me for months. i've been devouring it nightly.

also, the above photo comes from a clever blog called, insulted by authors, in which a writer has writers inscribe insults instead of dedications.

i keep watching this video of yokoo over and over. it kills me. it makes me rub my wrist bones. it makes me want to be more tidy. more still.

it makes me need one of those boa constrictor scarves this winter over this white studded leather jacket by di$count:
