As usual I'm trying to weave some sort of meaning out of all of the threads in my life at once, and now that our chickens have started laying eggs, I'm consumed with thoughts about hatching, eggs, containers, incubation, and femininity, and I know from past experience when this happens it's bound to make its way into my work.
