jason clay lewis does death

nothing like a little death in the morning to get you going........ i just this second stumbled on jason clay lewis in the new issue of ruby mag. i was fascinated by his fur viper & owl sculptures, but it was these pieces in his 'the black death' series that really woke me up. the above image is a wooden heart box, the kind you hope you get for valentine's day, but this one is filled with rat poison chocolates. below are fed bullets etched with the death of things, such as 'charity' and 'virginity'. all of the work is clever, beautiful and deadly. i hope you go see for yourself!
